In its efforts to reduce inequality, CNU runs a gamut of programs that empower marginalized people, mainly through its livelihood and ecotourism projects. Aside from that, the university has always followed the principle of equality in its policies such as equal access to educational opportunities, advocacy to end violence against women and their children, and free practical self-defense training for all.

Further efforts lie in the university’s conduct of studies that point out the line of equality. These published works highlight the significance of doing research on social justice amid the pandemic to solve problems and unlock ways to survive the toughest eras of human life.
