Creativity and ingenuity shines through as CNU, in cooperation with DENR, successfully conducts diverse activities that emphasize responsible consumption and production –both in the community and the individual level. These successes include: training on green procurement, a consultative meeting on “Solid Waste Minimization”; the proposal of the “Solid Waste Management Policy,” and the Eco-Friendly School Competition.
On a personal level, university constituents now effectively hone resourcefulness through recycling—such as using recycled bond paper when printing documents and cutting them into notepads, recycled carton boxes as storage for returned books, and the creation of reusable products out of the disposed of cabinets, tables, chairs, and other furniture from the CNU – Main Campus.
