We, the Administrators, Teaching, Non-Teaching personnel and the rest of Cebu Normal University, commit to adhere to the principles, practices, and responsible actions toward the realization/achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

With this, we wish to express our intention to take an active part in the following:

  • recognizing the current enormous social, economic, and environmental challenges
  • affirming that future development must be socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable
  • upholding the Sustainable Development Goals agenda towards 2023 sustainable development
  • emphasizing the vital role of the university in achieving a sustainable future through teaching, research, community extension, and operations
  • applying the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals in research undertakings leading to solutions for sustainable development challenges
  • supporting students with educational opportunities to acquire knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development
  • contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals by ensuring our campuses and major programs are environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive
Through resilient synergy, we also commit to working on strengthening the initiatives toward the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
