Philippine Standard Time:

Economic growth is positively driven by decent and fulfilling jobs. The institution is committed to accomplishing this universal call to action, as shown in its community engagements, research, and non-academic activities such as the Katilingbanong Turismo in Barangay Nangka, Teach Me How to Fish in Barangay Gaas, and Mt. Manunggal Trek and Tours at Barangay Sunog as a way to augment the income of the local tour guides.

The E-HELP Life Festival of the university also empowers local communities, especially the women, through their livelihood programs and training e.g. “Kwarta sa Tinapa: A Sardine-Canning Training Program”, “Worm-A-Lot, Iwas Kalat”, and other DENR-CCPL ecotourism projects.
