- In our lesson in Educ 14 and 13, I discuss the importance of being healthy. My students enumerated ways to achieve good health and well-being.
- Nursing Research 1 and 2 courses and even in our graduate studies research, the majority of the topics that we approved for completed research conduct were aligned to addressing good health and well-being
- Psychiatric nursing concepts integration of the mental health gap action program (WHO) to reduce the impact and suffering arising from mental illnesses
- Facilitate training workshops on both qualitative and quantitative health research that could address problems with health systems and health delivery
1. Incorporated in small group discussions – the importance of good nutrition and exercise/activity
2. Emphasize preventive and health-promotive measures
- Incorporation of SDGs in the syllabus for Ophthalmology (SDG3, 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15) - WHO Global Goals for Reducing Reversible Blindness, emphasizing sustainable practices in clinics and surgery, taking part in Clinical and Surgical Medical Missions for Ophthalmology

- Ensure good physical and mental health status of students, faculty, and staff through extra-curricular activities like Med-Olympics, annual physical exams, vaccination drives, and retreats.

I always make it a point to exercise at least 2 times a week. I also made a balanced meal plan for good health. To relieve stress, my family schedules a monthly getaway to spend time breathing and being with nature
Charity Works: Balay Samaritano (distributing basic needs of street children and older adults), Mandaue Looc Fire Victims (700 pcs sardines and 720 noodles to support the fire victims), and Capotatan Norte Medellin Cebu (distribution of 100 poor families with 10 kilos ganador rice and spaghetti sets)
