Philippine Standard Time:

Gender equality starts with awareness and ends with acceptance (inclusivity). For this to happen, CNU has implemented anti-bullying policies; provided sensitivity training for staff and students; created safe spaces for LGBT students; and offered counseling services. The university hopes to promote education that recognizes and celebrates diversity so that students can thrive and reach their full potential, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

CNU also strives to be a driving force in women empowerment as most of its workforce is composed of women. Reaching out to its communities, CNU places importance on livelihood projects for women such as seen in the initiative “Superwoman: Empowering Housewives in the Society”, seminar-workshops on gender equality, and opportunities
