The Sci-AI Lecture-Workshop on the Integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Science Education was successfully conducted on June 29, 2026, at the Don Sergio Osmeña Sr. Memorial National High School. Organized by the College of Teacher Education/Integrated Laboratory School, the activity brought together educators and participants to enhance their understanding of the emerging role of Artificial Intelligence in Science Education. The lecture-workshop was facilitated by Dr. Charlo M. Iradel, Dr. Joje Mar Sanchez, Dr. Erwin Corales, and Prof. Sunny Fernandez, who shared their knowledge, expertise, and practical insights on the integration of AI into science teaching and learning.

The activity aimed to equip participants with relevant knowledge and practical strategies for utilizing Artificial Intelligence as an educational tool, particularly in the teaching of Science. It also promoted innovation and the adoption of technology-supported approaches to improve the quality of education. In support of this goal, the activity was aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, which promotes inclusive and quality learning opportunities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, which highlights the importance of collaboration and partnerships in achieving sustainable development. The conduct of the activity at the partner school further strengthened the collaboration between the participating institutions.
The participants actively engaged in the lecture-workshop, as reflected in the attached attendance sheet. The activity was also positively evaluated, with the evaluation results showing a 100% positive response. Participants recognized the lecturers as competent and knowledgeable experts in their respective fields and found the topics and discussions useful and relevant to their educational needs. Overall, the Sci-AI Lecture-Workshop was successfully implemented and provided the participants with meaningful learning experiences, practical knowledge, and greater awareness of how Artificial Intelligence can be integrated into Science Education.
