Two (2) Board of Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) Topnotchers and 211 students of Cebu Normal University-Medellin Campus were recognized for their outstanding academic performance in the Annual Student Recognition Ceremony organized by Dr. Concepcion Payao, Student Affairs Development Office Coordinator on February 16, 2024, CNU Medellin Grounds, Sitio Pio Veloso, Antipolo, Medellin Campus.

BLEPT Topnotchers Cherry Lambojon (Bachelor of Elementary Education, 7th Placer) and Angel Mae Cahayagan (BEED, 8th Placer) together with the 107 first year students, 75 from the second- year level and 29 from the third year received their well-deserved certificates for their academic achievements.

“I hope that you continue your excellence…up to the extent of your employment because you are the face and mouthpiece of CNU and you represent CNU wherever and whenever you go,” University President, Dr. Daniel Ariaso Sr. was quoted as saying.

Furthermore, Dr. Donna Grace I. Cotejo, CNU-M Campus Director, stressed in her Statement of Purpose that CNU students should preserve their academic reputation as clever individuals. “This is only a semester; don’t get complacent… We shall keep our academic reputation as intellectual kids who are bright and “naning” (diligent),” she stated.

Meanwhile, Congresswoman Janice Z. Salimbangon gave the outstanding pupils financial incentives worth Php. 500.00.

The activity was a monument to the devotion and achievements of Cebu Normal University – Medellin’s finest.
