FIRST-YEAR COLLEGE ONLINE APPLICATION FOR PRE-QUALIFYING EXAMS (ADMISSION TESTING) REQUIREMENTS FOR AY 2025-2026
THRU ONLINE APPLICATION IN THE RESPECTIVE COLLEGES AND CAMPUSES, please prepare the following:Â
1. Scanned Senior High School Report Card showing a GPA (whichever is available i.e. Grade 11 or Grade 12), LRN, and Strand with school seal should be visible |

For Undergraduate Studies Applicants of AY 2025-2026:
- Acceptance of online applications for undergraduate studies (first-year college) applicants of AY 2025-2026 will start this coming September 2 (Monday) – October 29, 2024 (Tuesday) including external campuses.
- Actual enrollment shall be subject to the quota per program and applicable laws and regulations of the University. The schedule of enrollment will be announced/posted separately.

Online Application Process/Steps
1. The Applicant will accomplish the Google Form for the College/Department/Campus applied (Google form from the colleges)

2. College/Department/Campus evaluates the requirements.

The College/Department/Campus staff will send an email to the applicants.

APPLICANTS WITH COMPLETE REQUIREMENTS
The College/Department/Campus staff will forward the application to the TAGCS Office (testing@cnu.edu.ph) along with a carbon copy of the applicant (cc the applicant). Forwarding of Applications of applicants from the Colleges and/or Campuses to the TAGCS Unit will be two (2) days after the application of an applicant or earlier. So that the applicant will be given a testing schedule the soonest time possible.
4. The testing staff sends instruction to the applicant to fill out the Testing Form
5. The applicant fills out the Testing Form 2 and attaches 2×2 picture with signature and valid ID within seven (7) working days.
6. The testing staff will check the duly accomplished Undergraduate Testing Form 2 and emails the testing schedule and guidelines to the applicant in 3-5 working days upon submission.
(B) College of Medicine Application for Entrance Examination
Application for Doctor of Medicine Program Academic Year 2024-2025
Application period: January 29 – May 15, 2024Â
Applicant Qualifications:
Applicants should possess the following qualification prior to taking the CNU College Admission Test:
- A natural-born or a naturalized Filipino citizen;
- With outstanding scholastic record from a Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in a field relevant to Health from a college or university duly recognized by the CHEd;
- Had taken the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) and at least in the 60% percentile rank or better. Validity of NMAT result is within two (2) years from the time of admission;
- Must have good moral standing as certified by the university/college graduated from in the BS degree;
- Priority will be given to applicants with low family income; and
- Preferably from Central Visayas (Region 7).

Schedule of Interview
- All applicants will be interviewed by the CNU-VSMMC CM Admissions Committee;
- The Admission Committee submits the interview scores to the Dean, who will endorse the scores to the Testing Center
- Testing Center integrates the scores in the computation of the final ratings

- The TAGCS Staff forwards the application to the Accounting Office for testing fee payment.
- The Accounting Office will send the payment instructions to the applicant.
- The Applicant pays the testing fee either online or over-the-counter.
- The Applicant sends the proof of payment to the TAGCS Office.
- The TAGCS Staff sends testing schedule within 3-5 working days upon the receipt of the proof of payment.

COLLEGE OF LAW
Application Period: April 15 (TUESDAY) –  May 31 (SATURDAY), 2025
Requirements:
- The applicant must be a Filipino citizen
- Copy of the Transcript of Records reflecting the obtained Bachelor’s Degree or a higher academic degree. If graduation is not yet reflected in the transcript, a true copy of grades to date may be submitted.
- Certified True Copy of the Certificate of Good Moral or a certification of no derogatory record for a disciplinary case from the university last attended

- No student who has obtained a general average below 2.0 or 85 in the college course required for admission to legal studies may be admitted to law school

Application Process:
    WALK-IN APPLICATION
a. The applicant secures Admission Form/Slip from the College/Department and fills out all the necessary data needed.
b. He/she pays the testing fee at the Cashier’s Office
c. The filled-out Admission Form/Slip, along with the official receipt from the Cashier’s Office shall be brought to the TAGCSU.
d. The applicant may opt to the take the pre-qualifying exam immediately as long as there is enough time to accomplish the test.
e. The TAGCSU Staff inputs the date, time and venue of the pre-qualifying exam in the for If an applicant chooses not to take the pre-qualifying exam on the day, he/she applies.
f. The TAGCSU Staff gives the Admission Form/Slip to the applicant then informs the applicant or client of the schedule, time and venue of the pre-qualifying exam and the requirements needed on the day of the pre-qualifying exam which are also stipulated in the Admission Form.
g. The applicants are required to read the Guidelines During Testing and are asked to fill-out the Acquiring a Testing Schedule Logbook and the Customer Satisfaction Survey.

a. The applicant fills out the Google Form for Law Application for Pre-Qualifying Examination.

b. The College / Department authorized representative forwards the application to the TACGS
c. The TAGCSU Staff encodes the applicant’s data to the monitoring sheet and sends verification email to the applicant.
Mode of Payment
- Payment may be done over the counter at the Cash Unit of the Main Campus prior to the exam.
- If the applicant opts to pay online, his/her application will be forwarded to the Accounting Office for testing fee payment instructions. The applicant will pay the testing fee online through Land Bank and then send the proof of payment to the TAGCSU email.
d. The TAGCSU Staff sends the pre-qualifying exam schedule within 2 – 3 working days upon receipt of the proof of payment.
