On September 5, 2025, the extension project titled “MML to MML 2.0: Mathematics Mini-Lesson to Mitigate Learning Loss – Corrective Instruction for the Students of San Roque National High School” was successfully conducted. Led by Dr. Vincent Theodore Balo as Project Leader, together with project members Dr. Jo Ann Petancio, Dr. Melanie Silva, and Mr. Angelito Cabanilla, the team carried out a series of targeted instructional interventions aimed at addressing learning gaps in mathematics among junior high school students.
The project provided structured mini-lessons and corrective instruction strategies designed to reinforce fundamental mathematical concepts, enhance student comprehension, and improve academic performance.
The initiative reflects the university’s commitment to community engagement and educational support, particularly in mitigating the effects of learning loss brought about by prolonged periods of remote or disrupted instruction.
