On September 19, 2025, the extension project titled “MML to MML 2.0: Mathematics Mini-Lesson to Mitigate Learning Loss – Corrective Instruction for the Students of San Roque National High School” continued its extension activities at San Roque National High School.
Spearheaded by Dr. Vincent Theodore Balo as Project Leader, and supported by project members Dr. Jo Ann Petancio, Dr. Melanie Silva, and Mr. Angelito Cabanilla, the team conducted a series of targeted instructional interventions aimed at bridging learning gaps in mathematics among junior high school students.
The project delivered structured mini-lessons and corrective instruction strategies focused on reinforcing core mathematical concepts, improving student comprehension, and boosting overall academic performance.
This initiative underscores the university’s strong commitment to community engagement and educational support, especially in response to the learning setbacks caused by extended periods of remote or disrupted instruction. Through sustained collaboration with partner schools, the project aims to create lasting educational impact and empower students toward academic success.
