“Let us be an institution where service is not only delivered, but felt.”
University President Dr. Laurence Garcia underscored this message during the opening of the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month celebration held at the university grounds this morning.
Enacted through Republic Act No. 11032, the law aims to simplify government requirements and procedures to improve service delivery to the public.
CNU, as a state university, is also covered by the mandates of the law in streamlining processes and procedures, hence improving service delivery to its stakeholders.
In his opening message, Dr. Garcia called on CNU employees to continue their commitment to excellent service, which must be “coupled with values.”
Among these is the continued commitment to collaboration among offices, especially in serving its largest clients, which are the students.
“EODB in our context as a university is making every student feel that their concern is heard without delay,” said Garcia.
“As CNU continues to recover, we must sustain the spirit of cooperation. Partnerships must start within us. We must perform properly with compassion and passion throughout the year,” he added.

Moreover, Atty. Roche Ocampo, the Vice President for Administration and Finance, also emphasized the 3-7-20 compliance processes toward efficient service delivery.
“What is essentially Ease of Doing Business is reducing time for our stakeholders,” Ocampo said.
“This is not just for government offices, but it is a blueprint on how we operate here in CNU,” Ocampo added.
The 3-7-20 uniform processing time mandates that simple transactions must be done in three days, complex transactions in seven days, and highly technical transactions in 20 days.
Padayon, CNU!
