To further improve the university’s extension practices, the Cebu Normal University (CNU) Extension Services Offices, led by its director, Prof. Laarne Pontillas, conducted the “Stakeholder Forum on CNU Extension Innovation, Project Proposal Writeshop, and In-House Review for CHED-Aligned Community Engagement” online from December 9 to 11, 2025.
This training is aimed at capacitating the newly-hired permanent faculty members and those who “are not yet engaged in funded extension projects”, by orienting them on the CHED’s A.C.H.I.E.V.E. agenda, the project management cycle, and identifying opportunities for strategic alignment.
Serving as resource persons are Dr. Bernard Pantonilla of CHED Regional Office 7, and Mrs. Jennifer Quimno of the DSWD-7.
