Key representatives from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Central Office and Region VII visit Cebu Normal University (CNU) for project terminal monitoring and evaluation at the Tandang Sora Hall on October 16, 2024.
 
Spearheaded by the CHED Central Office Monitoring Team Lead Ms. Noemi Isidro, the monitoring and evaluation was for the CHED-Institutional Development and Innovation Grant (IDIG) that started in 2017 titled, “Culture, Environment and Demography Additives for Curriculum Development in International Cooperation.”
 
The said project aimed to plan, develop, and assess the feasibility of offering the Bachelor of Cultural Education in the College of Teacher (CTE) Education and Doctor of Science in Nursing major in Gerontology Nursing in the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CNAHS) in CNU.
 
The project was led by Dr. Daisy Palompon along with its members, former Research Institute for Aging and Health (RIAH) Director Dr. Laurence Garcia, former Research in Innovative Instructional Delivery (IRIID), and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Finance Dr. Evelyn Tradio.
 
Among CHED technical evaluators and members include Dr. Libertad Garcia, Estela Padilla, Mercury Jane Nineza, and Alyssa Sosas.
 
The CHED Terminal Monitoring and Evaluation for Institutional Grants – Development and Innovation was joined by CNU’s administrative officials, deans from various colleges, and faculty members, all committed to furthering the university’s research excellence.
