On August 12, 2025, faculty members Dr. Ruby Melchor, Dr. Clarezeil Ladringan, and Prof. Sherlyn Salcedo from the College of Tourism, Hospitality, and Hotel Management conducted a consultative meeting with the Municipal Mayor, Tourism Officers, and DILG Officer of the Municipality of Badian.

The meeting aimed to explore potential collaborations between Cebu Normal University and the Municipality of Badian, particularly in the areas of capacity building, academic linkages, and community-based tourism management.
