On August 1, 2025, the extension project entitled “Sci-AI: Capacity Building for Science Literacy in the Digital World” successfully conducted its Training Needs Assessment and Orientation at Don Sergio Osmeña Memorial National High School (DSOMNHS) in Labangon, Cebu City.

The activity was spearheaded by the project leader, Dr. Charlo Iradel, alongside project members Mr. Sunny Fernandez, Dr. Blanca Alejandro, Dr. Joje Mar Sanchez, and Mr. Erwin Corales. The event marked the initial step toward strengthening science literacy and digital competence among educators and students in the community.
