Dr. Lovelyn G. Tipon is a dedicated nurse, researcher, and educator with over a decade of experience in nursing education. She is an Associate Professor at Cebu Normal University – College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences and holds a Doctor of Science in Nursing, specializing in Gerontology Nursing.

Dr. Tipon’s research interests lie in qualitative research design, particularly in Gerontology Care and Social Sciences. As the Director of the Research Institute for Ageing and Health (RIAH), she plays a vital role in advancing research initiatives that address the needs of the ageing population. Additionally, she serves as a member of the Ethics Review Board at Cebu Normal University, ensuring the integrity and ethical rigor of academic research.

She has actively participated in numerous trainings, seminars, and research conferences at local, national, and international levels, where she has also presented her research findings. With a strong commitment to scholarly collaboration, Dr. Tipon is eager to engage in multidisciplinary and cross-institutional research partnerships, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in nursing, gerontology, and social sciences.
