Cebu Normal University (CNU) will revert to the blended learning setup for the Main Campus with 75% onsite and 25% online beginning September 1.

Dr. Daniel Ariaso Sr., CNU president, issued today Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 45, officially revoking MC No. 43 issued on July 21 which implemented full online classes, and reinstating MC 12 issued on February 21 this year which mandates the hybrid learning arrangement.

MC 12 provides the adoption of hybrid or 75% onsite and 25% onsite learning arrangements for CNU Main campus. The MC will take effect until December 31, 2025.

The circular also sets a transition period from August 1 to 31 to prepare for the shift back to blended learning.

However, the blended scheme excludes students and faculty members from the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, CNU-VSMMC College of Medicine, CNU Balamban Campus, and CNU Medellin Campus.

On other hand, graduate programs will gradually resume the 75%-25% onsite-online format starting August 2.

This development came after positive updates on the Centralized Smart Hub Project, with the contractor committing to expedite retrofitting work this August to prepare 35 classrooms for equipment installation.
