Dr. Joje Mar P. Sanchez

Dr. Joje Mar P. Sanchez earned his doctorate in Science Education, awarded Best Dissertation, at Cebu Normal University. He obtained his baccalaureate degree in Physical Sciences Education, Magna cum laude, and Best Student Teacher, at the same university and his master’s degree in Chemistry Education at the University of the Philippines Cebu. Currently, he is the Research Director for Translational Research at the Institute for Research in Innovative Instructional Delivery and a faculty member of the College of Teacher Education at Cebu Normal University. At CNU, he teaches professional education, Science specialization, and research courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Before teaching at CNU, he was previously connected with PAREF Springdale School for Boys, where he taught chemistry and research subjects across elementary, junior high school, and senior high school levels. He has been a speaker on several occasions, sharing his expertise in Science investigatory project-making and instruction to both basic education students and teachers. He is also a published researcher in CHED, ACI, Scopus, and Clarivate Analytics-indexed journals. His research interests include Chemistry and Physics education, environmental education, educational data mining and mixed designs, and Science investigatory project instruction.
