The new anthem for Cebu Normal University’s GREAT golden journey was unveiled during today’s flag raising ceremony.

Sung by the composer himself, Culture and Arts Education student Japheth Guion serenaded the CNU community.

This was following the announcement of Dr. Lito Diones, director for Cultural and Sports Development (CSD), that the “Golden Journey,” emerged as the winner of “The Golden Journey of Cebu Normal University Songwriting Contest.”

Written by Sean Martinez and Kirsten Orbeta, and composed by Guion, who are all members of the award-winning CNU Chorale, the song beautifully encapsulates the essence of this administration’s vision and mission of onboarding CNU in a golden journey towards an agile and SMART future, and upholding the crimson and gold legacy in the years to come.
