To strengthen its commitment to innovation and inclusive education, the Cebu Normal University (CNU) College of Law takes part in the first Legal Education Technology and Inclusion Summit 2025 at the University of Santo Tomas, España, Manila.
The two-day summit, which runs from November 13 to 14, is organized by the Legal Education Board (LEB)—the agency mandated to reform and elevate the standards of legal education in the country. The event brings together law educators, innovators, and policymakers nationwide to explore how technology and inclusion can transform the future of legal education in the Philippines.
With the theme “Digital LawEd: Driving Innovation and Growth Through Inclusive Technology and Access to Legal Education,” the summit focuses on advancing digital transformation in law schools and fostering technology-driven, inclusive learning environments. Discussions center on enhancing faculty competencies, improving access to legal education, and streamlining administrative processes through digital innovation.
Representing Cebu Normal University are CNU President Dr. Daniel Ariaso Sr. and College of Law faculty member Atty. Rex Atabay Tadena, who join academic leaders and industry experts in sharing insights on integrating technology and inclusive practices across legal education.
Since its establishment and the admission of its inaugural batch of law students this year, the CNU College of Law has remained proactive in initiatives aligned with LEB standards—ensuring the delivery of quality and future-ready legal education.
