CNU Main Campus to adopt full online classes

Starting tomorrow, July 22, Cebu Normal University (CNU) Main Campus will shift to online classes owing to the implementation of the Centralized Student Smart Hub project, which requires retrofitting of classrooms and buildings.

Memorandum Circular No. 43, which was issued by CNU President Daniel Ariaso, Sr. today, provides for the online delivery of classes of various programs across colleges of CNU-Main Campus, including the Integrated Laboratory School, from July 22 until the issuance of certificate of acceptance/usability and occupancy of the Centralized Students Smart Hub project.

However, this issuance exempts students and faculty members of the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences and CNU-VSMMC College of Medicine.

Dr. Ariaso, in his memorandum, says the university will adopt pertinent modalities that “shall ensure meaningful learning experiences and thereby reduce if not eliminate learning losses and provide coping mechanisms to students in their desire for quality, relevant and useful education.”
