Darius Kenny Abarca Sasan, a graduate of the Master of Arts in Guidance Counseling (MAGC) program of Cebu Normal University, placed second in the August 2025 Guidance Counselors Computer-Based Licensure Exams.

 

He garnered 88.5%, the second top scorer among 496 passers out of 774 examinees who took the licensure exams conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on August 6–7.

 

Sasan was also named as the Best Thesis Awardee in 2025 for his research titled “The More I Know, the More I Care: A Psychometric Exploration of the Mental Health Literacy Scale among Senior High School Students in Cebu, Philippines.”

 

Moreover, CNU got a 100% passing rate for Guidance Counseling.
