LOOK | CNAHS faculty wins big in health research mentorship tilt, proceeds to national
 
College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CNAHS) faculty member Dr. Jezyl Cutamora has been named as the Visayas Cluster Winner for the 2025 Best Mentor in Health Research Awards – Graduate Studies Category of the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST–PCHRD), earning the distinction following the official announcement on November 13.
 
Chosen through nominations from various institutions in the Visayas region, the Best Mentor in Health Research Award recognizes and rewards mentors in health research “who have built the capacities of researchers in the health sector, and in the process, propelled significant advances in the Philippine National Health Research System’s (PNHRS) thrusts as outlined in the National Unified Health Research Agenda (NUHRA).”
 
With Dr. Cutamora’s selection as the Visayas Cluster Winner, she now moves forward to the national stage, joining top contenders from regions across the country.
 
Dr. Cutamora is set to receive her award during the 44th DOST-PCHRD anniversary celebration in March 2026.
