CHRISTINE P. PARADIANG, EdD

Dr. Christine P. Paradiang is an Associate Professor II in the Department of International Languages, where she has taught various English Language, Literature, and Education courses since 2018. She earned her Doctor of Education in English Language Teaching from Cebu Normal University. She also finished her Master of Arts in Education and graduated her Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English as a Cum Laude from the same university. 

She is an educator, researcher, UM maker, and extensionist. Her research interests and publications include E-teaching Modalities among Tertiary English Teachers, Lived Experience of Veteran English Teachers, English-Only Policy Implementation, Blended Learning Strategies, and Common Errors in Second Language Acquisition. She served as a research adviser and a panel member for undergraduate theses, and acted as a moderator and a judge in research conferences. Additionally, she worked as a language censor and research instrument validator for both undergraduate and graduate studies theses. 

Outside teaching and research, Dr. Paradiang published two (2) literary works in the Scholarly Lens: A Literary Magazine for Educators, and registered four (4) Utility Models in the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHIL). She actively participates in various extension projects as a member and project leader. Currently, she is the organization adviser of the Elite Society. She stays abreast of the developments in her field by engaging in continuous learning through local and international trainings and conferences.
