April 11, 2025 stamped a day of success to the CNU Balamban Campus community as it finally reached the end of its Level I evaluation of AACCUP (Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines) Accreditation for its three current programs.
The long, sleepless and arduous journey of the entire CNUB Task Force eventually made it to the finish line as the general impressions from the different accreditors were shared. During the closing ceremony, the AACCUP Team praised the good and positive attitude of the CNU community (from the students, faculty and stakeholders). On top of this, they also highlighted the niches of the different degree programs in the areas of instruction, research, extension and production. They also pinpointed areas that have to be improved in order to better serve the students and community partners.

While the results are on its way for release, the CNUB is very much hopeful for a positive outcome as the OIC Campus Director, Dr. Meshel B. Balijon, expressed commitment to work on the necessary actions to be taken based on the recommendations of the accreditors.

This milestone is a collaborative effort of CNUB family led by Dr. Meshel B. Balijon, OIC Campus Director, Dr. Marchee T. Picardal, OIC Campus Dean together with the overall coordinator of the accreditation, Ms. Sarah Jane C. Trazo, the CNUB Quality Assurance Officer. Their support truly made a significant effect to the performance and positive results of the accreditation. Moreover, the people behind the institution would always be one of its core factors as they continuously paved the way for the Campus’ greater heights.

This historical undertaking of the Campus since 2005 is a true manifestation that it has no other way to go but up and forward for bigger horizons. The Level I accreditation journey may literally come to a closing but this end is just a beginning of a brighter CNU Balamban Campus. With pride, honor, humble beginnings and resilient attitude, more achievements will surely be unlocked in the future. Laban, CNU Balamban!
