The College of Culture, Arts and Sports (CCAS) of Cebu Normal University has officially begun its preparations for the upcoming Level III and Level IV program accreditation under the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).
This quality assurance endeavor aims to further elevate the college’s academic standards and institutional reputation, in line with the university’s broader mission to uphold excellence in instruction, research, extension, and governance.
The college is currently coordinating efforts across departments and programs to ensure the readiness of required documents, updated syllabi, faculty credentials, research outputs, and extension activities. Programs undergoing review have undergone internal assessments to align with AACCUP’s rigorous criteria for advanced accreditation levels.
- Level III accreditation emphasizes areas such as curriculum enhancement, faculty development, research productivity, and linkages.
- Level IV accreditation, the highest level, is granted to programs that have achieved prestige and leadership in their discipline, demonstrating exceptional performance in instruction, research, community engagement, and internationalization.
CCAS Dean Dr. Reynaldo Inocian together with the various program chairs and faculty members are working closely with the college’s Quality Assurance Office to ensure compliance with standards and to highlight CCAS’s milestones and innovations.
This accreditation milestone reflects CCAS’s commitment to continuous improvement, academic distinction, and transformative leadership in the fields of culture, arts, communication, sports, and the social sciences. For more updates on the accreditation process and accomplishments of CCAS, visit the official webpage: https://cnu.edu.ph/college-of-culture-arts-and-sports/
