The stakeholders’ consultation is one of the processes that an educational institution has to go through should it undertake any academic endeavor that would concern and benefit the community. This kind of activity acknowledges insights and expertise from people of different fields as their comments and suggestions would be a very vital basis for improvement.

The online event was joined by the CNUB Admin, faculty and staff together with the different stakeholders from parents, school heads, medical practitioners, LGUs, alumni among others. The feasibility study was presented by Ms. Corinne Trecia S. Dado, CNUB Research Chair and FS BS nursing member. Together with her in the research are Dr. Meshel B. Balijon (CNUB OIC Campus Director), Dr. Marchee T. Picardal (CNUB OIC Dean), Ms. Cherry G. Dumdum (CNUB Extension Chair) and Ms. Anelyn B. Tacuyan (CNUB Education Program Chair). Prior to this, faculty consultation was also done last April 25, 2025.

A very interactive open forum was also conducted after the presentation which provided an avenue to hear concerns or inquiries regarding the program offering. The CNUB admin were also very prompt in addressing the questions, providing adequate information that may be disseminated to the general public

The new program offering may seem a very challenging task to the CNUB family but this is also one way of expanding its wings to be more visible and responsive to its society. This will not only cater aspiring medical practitioners in the Municipality but will surely aid in the provision of quality health care in the community. This academic endeavor goes to show that going out of comfort zone can also lead to something meaningful while sustaining relevance and maintaining significance as a University.
