Cebu Normal University (CNU) President Dr. Daniel Ariaso Sr. is in talks with the Technical Education And Skills Development Authority (TESDA) for the possible offering of a skills enhancement program in the university.
 
Dr. Ariaso visits the TESDA Office of the Deputy Director for Special Concerns Central Office in Taguig City today.
 
The proposed offering of the CNU Community-based Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) eCenter for a Lifelong Learning (CNU CBTVET eCenter for aLL) aims to enhance the students’ skills, improve employment opportunities, and boost local communities’ economic development.
 
The initiative will also focus on providing accessible and relevant technical and vocational training that aligns with industry demands, ensuring that students are equipped with the necessary competencies for the evolving job market.
 
Along with the university president are CNU Administrative Officer V Atty. Stanley Sam Tibon and EA Angelica Patoy, along with TESDA Deputy Director General Felizardo Colambo, Executive Director for Partnership and linkages Floramel Joy Songsong, and Provincial Director Emily Tesoro.
 
The CNU CBTVET eCenter for all is a step forward towards empowering communities towards national development.
