Cebu Normal University (CNU) adopts the Cebu City government’s Youth in Action Program, promoting environmental responsibility and encouraging students to take part in proper waste management and community initiatives.

Launched alongside the kickoff of the CNU Intramural Games 2026, the initiative includes an anti-plastic campaign led by Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival Sr., who encourages the public to avoid single-use plastic bottles and use reusable water tumblers.
The program highlights the role of young people in addressing environmental challenges through simple and sustainable practices.
For CNU, its adoption extends the spirit of the intramurals beyond sportsmanship, encouraging Normalites to embrace service, responsible consumption, and collective action toward cleaner, more sustainable communities.

“Today we celebrate sportsmanship and service,” Mayor Archival said, emphasizing the values at the heart of the initiative.
