Cebu Normal University (CNU) wrapped up its five-day training on the Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) with an internal audit simulation, allowing participants to apply their learnings through practical auditing exercises.

Select CNU officials and personnel immersed themselves in the ISO 21001:2025: Five-Day In-House Training Program on EOMS Awareness, Documentation, Internal Audit, and Gap Analysis, held on October 5–9, 2026 at CNU Tandang Sora Hall.
The culminating simulation involved conducting audit inspections and interviews, drafting an audit plan, and formulating nonconformity statements. These exercises provided participants with hands-on experience in applying internal audit procedures and identifying areas for improvement in the university’s management processes.
The training aimed to strengthen the university’s quality assurance framework by equipping key personnel with essential competencies in risk-based thinking, educational stakeholder satisfaction, documentation, internal auditing, and gap analysis.

The initiative supports CNU’s transition from its existing ISO 9001:2015 certification toward ISO 21001:2025, which provides a management system framework tailored to educational organizations and their learners’ needs.
Through this capacity-building initiative, CNU reinforces its commitment to continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and quality education as it prepares for EOMS certification.
