Faculty members and personnel of higher education institutions are encouraged to take advantage of the Commission on Higher Education-7’s scholarship program and pursue graduate studies at Cebu Normal University (CNU).
As an approved Delivering Higher Education Institution (DHEI) under the CHED Staff and Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP) Program, CNU currently offers 40 graduate programs across various disciplines, giving SIKAP scholars a wide range of options for academic and professional advancement.

Moreover, CHED-7 will accept applications in two batches.
For the September 2026 batch, the application deadline is September 7, 2026, with the Notice of Award scheduled for release on September 18. Meanwhile, the October 2026 batch will accept applications until October 5, with the Notice of Award to be released on October 19.
The SIKAP scholarship supports both full-time and part-time study arrangements, allowing scholars to pursue advanced education while accommodating their professional responsibilities.
Applicants are advised to review the eligibility requirements and submit all necessary documents before the applicable deadline. Screening, evaluation, and approval of scholarship applications are conducted solely by CHED-7.
CNU emphasized that the university accepts only applicants who have been officially approved and endorsed by the regional office.
