The OIC-Director of the Extension Services Office, Asso. Prof. Laarne E. Pontillas, together with faculty members from CNU-Balamban—Ms. Cherry Dumdum and Ms. Sheva Marie Alfeche-Flores—attended the Agri-Konek Food Summit held on August 4–5, 2025, at the Cebu Capitol Social Hall.

This vibrant two-day event was a celebration of local cultural innovation, food entrepreneurship, and sustainable farming practices. Organized in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Cebu and various stakeholders in the agri-food sector, the summit brought together local farmers, agri-preneurs, food processors, and representatives from government agencies in a shared space for networking, marketing, and capacity-building.
