With the University’s continued commitment to delivering quality higher education, Cebu Normal University (CNU) is chosen by the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) for its P9.2-million scholarship program.
Aiming to provide assistance to financially challenged yet deserving students, DBP’s Integrated Scholastic Program for Inclusive and Responsive Education (INSPIRE) scholarship seeks to bridge the educational gap for those whose academic dreams are often hindered by financial constraints.
As one of the pilot implementing institutions, CNU commits to ensuring that the scholarship grants will ease financial burdens among its students. The coverage includes student allowances and other essential school-related expenses.
Present during the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing yesterday at the DBP Head of Office in Makati City were DBP Chairman Philip Lo and President and Chief Executive Officer Michael De Jesus.
Representing CNU were University President Dr. Daniel Ariaso Sr. and Director of the Student Affairs and Development Office (SADO) Dr. Jollibee Aharul. They were joined by Department of Education Secretary Juan Edgardo Angara.
Congratulations, CNU!
