Several CNU Academic Programs Granted Continuous Offering by AACCUP
Several undergraduate and graduate programs of Cebu Normal University (CNU) have been granted continuous offering status by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) following a comprehensive technical review conducted during the first quarter of the year.
Among the seven undergraduate programs evaluated, six received Level IV Re-accredited status, while one retained its Level IV accreditation. Meanwhile, among the four graduate studies programs assessed, three were granted Level II Re-accredited status, while one earned Level III Re-accredited status.
The accreditation process assessed key areas of academic excellence, including research, graduate performance, faculty qualifications, curriculum, and international linkages and consortia, among others.

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
• Bachelor of Arts major in Political Science and Social Science – Level IV Re-accredited
• Bachelor of Science in Mathematics – Level IV Re-accredited
• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry – Level IV Re-accredited
• Bachelor of Science in Physics – Level IV Re-accredited
• Bachelor of Science in Biology – Level IV Retained
• Bachelor of Arts in English Language – Level IV Re-accredited
• Bachelor of Arts in Literature – Level IV Re-accredited
GRADUATE PROGRAMS
• Master of Science in Mathematics – Level III Re-accredited
• Master of Science in Environmental Biology – Level II Re-accredited
• Master of Arts in Communication – Level II Re-accredited
• Masterado ng Sining ng Filipino – Level II Re-accredited
AACCUP is the accrediting body tasked with evaluating academic programs in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), including Cebu Normal University, to ensure that they meet established quality standards.
Accreditation levels are granted based on institutional performance in areas such as instruction, research, extension services, faculty development, and curriculum.
