Dr. Grace Malaga, CNU-Catmon Campus director; Dr. Monique Cordova, Institute for Innovative Instructional Delivery (IRIID) director; and Angelito Cabanilla, IRIID Theoretical Division chair, for bagging the prestigious Best Paper and Excellence in Research Award at the recently-concluded 6th Instabright International Research Conference.

Dr. Cordova and Dr. Malaga received the award for their research titled “AI Tools in Teaching Internship: Insights into Lesson Design Practices,” while Cabanilla was recognized for his research on “Students’ Familiarity, Ethics, and Benefits in the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Education.”

The conference, which carried the theme “The AI Revolution: Ethical, Social, and Technical Considerations for Artificial Intelligence,” was held at a hotel in Tagaytay City on September 19-20.
