CNU, Taiwan university sign MOA to boost academic, cultural programs

To further promote their educational collaboration and cultural understanding, Cebu Normal University (CNU) and National Taiwan Normal University’s College of Science ink a five-year Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on October 28, 2024 during the regular flag raising ceremony at CNU grounds.

The two institutions, represented by CNU President Dr. Daniel Ariaso, Sr. and NTNU Dean Dr. Jein-Shan Chen, agree to boost their faculty and students’ exchange program; exchange of academic information materials, periodicals, academic publications, and research materials and publications; share best practices pertaining to smart campuses systems and operations; and organization of joint scientific research programs or other research projects, among others.

“The collaboration and cooperation in the promotion of academic excellence shall not only benefit the parties but also invariably promote greater international cooperation,” the MOA reads.
Dr. Ariaso says the partnership is seen to produce more projects, programs and activities.

“I’m very much happy and delighted as CNU has now a strong partner,” he says.

Dr. Chen, in a speech, also thanks CNU and hopes for a productive and successful partnership.

The signing of the partnership is witnessed by the CNU community and the NTNU delegates.
