The Cebu Normal University (CNU) entered into a partnership with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Regional Welfare Office 7 on October 22.

 

CNU President Dr. Daniel Ariaso, Sr. signed the Memorandum of Agreement with OWWA-RWO 7 Officer-In-Charge Ms. Dineza Gelle, and CNU OIC Director for External Affairs, Dr. Emiliano Ian Suson II. Also present during the signing was the Vice President for Administration, Finance, and External Affairs Dr. Allan Roy Elnar.

One of the highlights of this partnership is putting up an OFW Help Desk in CNU to serve as OWWA’s “conduit in the swift delivery of its programs on education and training, welfare, health care and reintegration for OFWs and their families.”

 

On behalf of CNU, Dr. Ariaso also received a plaque of Appreciation from OWWA for being the agency’s second partner university in Cebu.

 

The OFW Help Desk in CNU will be located at the office of External Affairs at the 3rd floor of the TAC building.
