In recognition of his contributions to the field of education, SUC President III Dr. Laurence Garcia received the “Exemplary Bol-anon” Award from the Circulo Boholano de Cebu, Inc. on June 18.
The recognition honors Dr. Garcia’s “outstanding achievements in education,” particularly his publication of several studies in nursing education and his role as an educator and mentor to nursing students and professionals.
Moreover, the award also recognizes his recent installation as University President, having “left a lasting inspiration to the younger generation of Boholano educators aspiring to become luminaries in the field.”
The plaque of recognition was presented by the organization’s Board of Trustees, led by its President, Edith Rose Santos.
Circulo Boholano de Cebu, Inc. is an organization of Cebu-based Boholanos established in 1910. It recognizes outstanding Boholanos for their contributions across various disciplines.
