Cebu Normal University Main Campus was recognized by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Region 7 for its outstanding extension service.

 

BJMP-7 acknowledged CNU’s meaningful contribution to Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) rehabilitation and community well-being through its extension project “Comprehensive Psychosocial Health Program.”

 

“…for their outstanding service, commitment, and constant support towards the fulfillment of the Bureau’s mandate in strengthening responsive and holistic PDL welfare and development programs for the PDLs,” reads the citation of the certificate of recognition signed by BJMP-7 Regional Director and Jail Chief Superintendent Luisito Muñoz.

 

This recognition reflects CNU’s enduring commitment to service, compassion, and transformative community engagement.
