In its continued commitment to community engagement and educational advancement, Cebu Normal University (CNU), through its Extension Services Unit, enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with three secondary schools today.

The initiative, titled “Empowering English Language Educators: An Approach to Literacy Development,” aims to enhance the teaching competencies of selected junior and senior high school teachers through free training workshops conducted at least twice per academic year.

Partner schools include City Central National High School, Talisay City National High School, and Don Sergio Osmeña Sr. Memorial National High School.

Leading the ceremonial signing are CNU President Dr. Daniel Ariaso Sr. and Extension Services Director Laarne Pontillas, together with CNU faculty members and representatives from the Department of Education.

This partnership underscores CNU’s unwavering dedication to teacher development, literacy promotion, and accessible professional enrichment for educators across the region.
