The College of Culture, Arts, and Sports (CCAS) and the College of Humanities of National Chi Nan University (NCNU) held an exploratory meeting to discuss potential internationalization initiatives between the two institutions.

The preliminary talks focused on possible areas of collaboration, including student internship programs, faculty-led endeavors, joint research conferences, and publication partnerships. Both colleges expressed keen interest in identifying mutually beneficial opportunities that would enhance academic exchange and promote deeper cultural understanding.

The NCNU delegation was led by Dr. Pei-Hsu Chen, Distinguished Professor and Dean of the College of Humanities. Together with him are Dr. Jenn-Jaw Soong, Distinguished Professor from the Department of Political Science; Dr. Wen-Yueh Wang from the Department of Southeast Asian Studies; Dr. Yu Szutu, Dr. Tzuming Sun, and Ms. Chih-Yin Chang.

On the part of CNU, the meeting was attended by Dr. Reynaldo B. Inocian, Dean of the College of Culture, Arts, and Sports (CCAS); Dr. Lelani C. Dapat, Dean of the College of Teacher Education (CTE); Dr. Feeleh L. Eñanoza, Director for Internationalization; Dr. Ana Fara C. Nelmida, Director of Research Institute for Language Studies (RILS); Dr. Corazon B. Prejoles, Director of Media Education and Development Institute for Advancement (MEDIA); and Prof. Carren Joy D. Derasin, Chair of CCAS-Internationalization.

Both universities expressed optimism and excitement about the possibilities that lie ahead. This exploratory dialogue marks the beginning of what is hoped to be a strong and sustainable international partnership.
