Cebu Normal University Balamban Campus has made another milestone as it submitted itself to a Joint-Office Inspection on June 9, 2025.

The said activity was led by the Internal Audit Unit (IAU), together with the Property and Supply Management Unit (PSMU), Records Office and General Services Unit (GSU). In detail, the team was composed of Prof. Romualdo B. Generalao (OIC Director of the Internal Audit), Atty. Iam Christian Cosido (Internal Auditor III), Charoma Jessica Amatos (Internal Auditor II), Mary Claire Doncillo (Internal Auditor I), Rhodessa Gilbuena (Records Officer I), Pauline Grace C. Gloria-Alcoseba (Supply Officer II) and Patricio Lloyd Tellidua (Administrative Officer II).

It basically conducted a comprehensive assessment of the Campus’ spaces (offices and other facilities), an evaluation of its status of the Certificate of Compliance (COPC) and enrollment preparedness for the incoming academic year 2025-2026, a review and assessment of the implementation of the Citizen’s Charter and monitoring of the Campus’ compliance with the May 2025 audit report. On top of this, the key personnel also provided an orientation on how to conduct records inventory using the NAP Form 1, pursuant to the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) General Circular No. 4, series of 2023. The results and recommendations of the evaluation will then be used to continually improve what has to be worked on by the Campus.
The preparation prior to the inspection was also made possible through the timeless and tireless effort of the CNUB Quality Assurance Coordinator, Ms. Sarah Jane C. Trazo and the QA Assistant Coordinator, Ms. Jessia May B. Flores. This is also supported by the different personnel behind the curtains of possibilities led by its Campus Director, Dr. Meshel B. Balijon.
The continuous checking may sometimes come in surprise but a genuine commitment to quality service will never shake the Campus as it has always been living with its purposes and ideals since the beginning – sustaining relevance, nurturing opportunities and cultivating excellence.
