CNU hosts Singapore educators for benchmarking visit
 
Cebu Normal University (CNU) welcomed a delegation of 15 teachers and head teachers from Singapore sent by the Ministry of Education for a benchmarking and learning visit.
 
The group, seeking to explore the Philippine education setup, chose CNU as their focus institution due to its strong reputation in teacher education.
 
The visitors were warmly greeted by Dr. Janet Mananay, Director for Internationalization, who facilitated their interactions with key figures from the university, including Dr. Nancy Cadosales, Supervisor of the Integrated Laboratory School (ILS), and Dr. Feleeh Enanoza, Director for Internship. Dr. Jennifer Gonzales, IZN Chair for ILS, also joined the meeting, fostering an engaging discussion on best practices in CNU’s Integrated Laboratory School.
 
Following the meeting, the delegation observed classes at the ILS and was impressed by the professionalism of the teacher interns and the high level of enthusiasm displayed by the students. The visit concluded with both parties expressing mutual admiration for the education systems of their respective countries, opening doors for potential collaborations in the future.
