He graduated Cum Laude with a degree of Bachelor in Secondary Education majoring in English and was a consistent Dean’s Lister for four (4) consecutive years at Cebu Normal University. He finished the degrees in Master of Arts in Education last 2016 and Doctor of Education majoring in English Language Teaching at Cebu Normal University last 2019 at the age of 27. He is currently pursuing another doctorate degree in Doctor of Philosophy in English Language Studies at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. 

He was a recipient of the Commission on Higher Education Full-Merit Scholarship in the year 2008-2012 and the Commission on Higher Education Dissertation Grant in the year 2019. A certificate holder of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Teaching English as a Second Other Language (TESOL). 

His research interests include qualitative research, phenomenological studies, English Language Teaching, English as a Foreign Language, and Language Education. He presented his research studies at local and international research conferences recently at Daejeon City, South Korea and published research papers in local and international research journals. He was a thesis adviser to graduate school students, a panel member in both Thesis and Dissertation Oral Defense, and a peer- reviewer in various Journal Publications. He also published Utility Model and Industrial Design at the Intellectual Property of the Philippines (IPOPHIL). He co-authored a textbook for college students under Lorimar Publishing Inc. He has been a conference host and facilitator for various seminars and conferences and has been a Resource Speaker for different conferences and webinars.

He is a trainer for Career Guidance, Speech Communication, Written and Oral Communication Skills and was one of the pioneer Senior High School Teachers last 2016-2018 in the Department of Education-Cebu Province where he performed Teaching Demonstrations during the Mass Training of Teachers in the Regional and National Level. He was previously a guest Lecturer at the Cebu Technological University and University of Cebu. 

In 2018 he became a faculty member at the Department of Languages and Literature, Cebu Normal University and currently he is an Associate Professor V who teaches courses among the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs. At the moment, he is the head of two (2) offices in Cebu Normal University where he is currently designated as the Director for Planning, Foresight, and Futures Thinking Unit, and also designated as the Director for Student Affairs and Development Office.
