Dr. Chrysler Cabusa earned his Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Technology and Home Economics and a minor in Mathematics at Cebu Technological University (CTU) Daanbantayan Campus in 2008, followed by his Master of Arts Vocational Education at CTU Main Campus in 2015 and Doctor of Philosophy in Technology Management at CTU Daanbantayan Campus in 2018.

He joined the Cebu Normal University (CNU) Medellin Campus in 2010 as a part-time instructor. He became a regular instructor in 2017 and assumed the role of College Research Chair. He was designated as the Education Program Chair in 2019.

He has published four (4) scientific papers in esteemed international refereed journals. His work garnered 6 citations on Google Scholar with an H-index of 1. He presented six (6) scientific papers at international research conferences where he got the Best Paper Presenter award two (2) times. He also has produced one (1) Utility Model.

He has received three (3) Presidential Citations at CNU as an Outstanding Faculty, Researcher, and Extentionist from 2018-2021.

Currently, he is the designated Dean of the CNU Medellin Campus.
