Dr. Daisy Palompon and Dr. Laurence Garcia of the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences were awarded the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 during the 42nd-anniversary celebration of the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) in Pasay City.

 

Dr. Palompon was declared winner in the Visayas Cluster and National winner in the Junior or Early-Career Researchers Category, while Dr. Garcia was declared the winner in the Visayas Cluster—Graduate Students Category. Both faculty members personally received the award at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) earlier today.

 

The 42nd PCHRD anniversary was attended by experts, partners, and stakeholders in the field of health research from various institutions in the country who have contributed to strengthening and building the nation’s health research capacities.
