In a significant step towards international collaboration, Cebu Normal University (CNU) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Oxford International Education Group. The signing ceremony, held on July 1st, marks the beginning of a promising partnership aimed at enhancing academic excellence and fostering global learning opportunities.
The ceremony took place during the Flag Raising Program, with key representatives in attendance. Dr. Daniel A. Ariaso, Sr., University President, and Mr. Dominic Archer, Oxford’s Head of Partnerships for Asia, formally inked the agreement.
Through this partnership, CNU and Oxford International Education Group aim to achieve more international visibility for CNU through promotion of the Oxford English Language Level Test (ELLT). This initiative focuses on providing English proficiency exams online, covering the four macro skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
The Oxford ELLT will be especially valuable for foreign students seeking admission to CNU, ensuring they meet the necessary English language requirements for their academic pursuits. After the signing ceremony, a short meeting was held at the Office of the University President, where future initiatives and strategies were discussed.
The MOA signing marks the start of a dynamic partnership, setting the stage for joint initiatives that will significantly contribute to the internationalization efforts of CNU and the Oxford International Education Group.
