Thirty-eight honor graduates from Cebu Normal University (CNU) were recognized by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) for their exemplary academic performance during the DOST awards night held at a hotel in Cebu City on October 24, 2025.

 

The event, titled In Touch with Excellence: “Karunungang Taglay, sa Bayan Iaalay,” recognized students for their outstanding academic performance in line with the DOST–Science Education Institute’s (SEI) vision of building the next generation of Science and Technology (S&T) professionals committed to the well-being of every Filipino.

 

Mary Christine Nogra, a Magna Cum Laude graduate of BS Chemistry from Cebu Normal University (CNU) who recently passed the Chemists Computer-Based Licensure Examination, was one of the selected honor graduates who delivered a testimonial of her experiences as a DOST-SEI scholar.
